Double Glazed Vacuum Insulated Soundproof Glass (VIG) or Acoustic Insulation Glass is compond glass unit :single glass + air space + vacuum insulated glass unit. It has the function and property of double glazed glass and vacuum glass.
The noise is be reducted twice by vacuum space and insulated air space.
Vacuum Insualted Glass Unit (4mm glass+0.3mm vacuum space +4 glass)
is made according to the principle of vacuum flask, which seals the circumference of two pieces of flat glass and keeps the space between them as 0.1-0.3mm with tiny props.Vacuumize the space to make the pressure reach 10-4Pa.Due to interior vacuum, the conduction and convection of glass nearly does not exist,thus it has super function on thermal insulation,soundproof ,free of condensation etc.
Noise Reduction
This Glass compound effectively blocks medium and low frequency penetrating noises.
The high vacuum interspace effectively blocks sound transmission. Human ear is quite sensitive. For every 5 dB, of noise increase, the effect on auditory experiences differs by 3 to 4 times. The weighted sound insulation measurement indicates that an outdoor noise level of 75 dB, can be reduced by 39 dB by it, while the typical reduction by regular laminated glass is only 29 dB. It has a remarkable soundproofing effect against medium and low frequency noise such as traffic and construction noise that disturb our daily lives a lot.
Advantages of Double Glazed Vacuum Insulated Glass
1.Compared with normal insulated glass, it has good heat preservation, heat-insulating performance;
2.Compared with normal insualted, it has better sound insulation performance on most sound frequency, especially on low-mid frequency;
3.High energy conservation
Building energy consumption, as one of the three energy consumption industries (industry, transportation and building), accounts for 37.85 of total energy consumption. Among which, consumption of doors and windows accounts for 50%-80%, thus, doors and windows has become a key problem of researches in various countries.
--In 2012, European countries forced people to use energy conservation building glass with U value of 0.7 (R=8.1).
--In 2013, U.S. Energy Star used energy conservation building glass with U value of 0.5 (R=11.1).
4. Noise proof
